This will be a short post with a few quick photos of one of our underbust corsets in red and black dragon brocade fabric. It's the first piece I have made in my newly renovated studio space :)

hello hello...

Well, what can I say? I have been monumentally rubbish at keeping my journal up to date with new work. I have been so busy! I have a phone full of photos that have been sitting there for months.

Anyway, I quickly pulled a couple to put up on my journal. Please forgive the quality - I desperately need to replace my phone but haven't found one that I like as much as the one I have now (which is becoming increasingly obsolete...)

I will hopefully be posting some new ideas/designs soon - it's taken a while for me to settle into the new place and the work space is still a bit chaotic but we're getting there.

Anyway - here are a few photos of a close-front bridal corset in a light cream cherry blossom:

tiny tiny things

Well, it's Friday night and I am at home and full of cold. So I thought I would put up a few quick photos of more corsets. I have made some very smaller stuff recently - both corsets are 18". One is our pointed under bust corset and the other is our polka dot piping detail under bust corset.

well howdy....

Long time no speak!! or type....

Well, we've not been around much recently (work, travel and the house move) but fear not, there has still been time for sewing :) I have loads of photos to update so more to follow.

Also, I've had to make this journal friends only as we seemed to have picked up some weird spam-y posters - how boring.

Anyway - the following is custom bridal at we recently completed for the fantastically gorgeous Sophia. I think that the colour scheme she decided on is one of the most original and beautiful I have ever worked with.

Lots and lots and lots of corsets...

Well, three corsets anyway. Apologies for not posting more and being a bit boring in general - I was away for a while and then I moved house and my life still appears to be buried at the bottom of a box that I haven't managed to unpack yet...

Anyway! Enough about my transient life. I've been busy sewing and I wanted to share three corsets that I've finished recently.

The first one was a custom pattern draft of our piping detail corset. It is in a larger size and made up in dark blue and silver dragon brocade. The body of the corset had...76 bones - plus the four lateral ones at the bust line for a total of 80.

Tiny and Purple

Hello Everyone! Happy New Year! Just a quick update with some quick snaps of a corset we finished the other day for the shop - it's a 20" pointed under bust corset in a deep purple duchess satin. It's so tiny and gorgeous! I don't have a clothing model small enough for it (and I still haven't got around to drafting up a soft body one) but I wanted to share some photos of it anyway :) I will be doing a big construction post on an Iris Norris corset that a client was kind enough to let me photograph so keep an eye on our journal. Anyway, on to the photos!

Pink - Part Two. Return of Pink.

Hello hello!

Just a quick update - we had a couple quick snaps of the fantastically gorgeous Rosie wearing one of our custom leather corsets in fuschia leather with cream piping and trim. We're pleased to bits with the way it turned out and were even happier when we received the photos of her wearing it!

pink pink pink

Hello hello :)

Just a quick post - we had the extreme pleasure of receiving a custom order for one of our leather corsets in the most amazing colour combination ever - fuschia and cream! We took a few quick photos on a camera phone and will hopefully update soon with photos of the customer in the finished piece. It was super fiddly to work with (leather always is), but it went together beautifully and we're super happy with how it turned out.

hola!

Hey everyone! Long time no speak! We've been silly busy lately and have been utterly rubbish at photographing new work before it's sent and keeping this journal up to date! We are working on a few special snazzy pieces though, so watch this space.

Also, whilst routing through some old photos, I came across some work from our first photoshoot and I thought I would share a couple! The red corset is our eyelet detail corset and the the lavender dragon brocade one is our pointed under bust corset.

polka dots, crystals and bows!

Hello! Just a quick update! I wanted to share a corset that we finished today - one of our over bust polka dot piping detail corsets in a 30" (it's ever so slightly too big for the antique clothing model, but I still think it looks lovely!)

Now, I am prone to random fixation on things or colours or what have you. The other week I arbitrarily decided that orange was the most amazing colour ever and that I was only going to buy orange fabric. I consequently now have a rather large amount of orange silk floral brocade in a variety of different designs...

But anyway, I digress. Today, it was bows. I finished the this corset and was putting some of these gorgeous dark purple crystals onto the label and thought...this corset could really do with a bow. I made a matching polka dot pin wheel bow accented with crystals - it attaches to the corset with a little safety pin. So I suppose whoever gets this corset will be in for a little suprise :)
